Abstract
"This study encompassed the concept of wulat al-amr (holders of authority), the obligation of appointing them, and the elucidation of scriptural proofs mandating listening and obedience to them, alongside the underlying wisdom thereof. It also recalled the legal edicts (fatawa) of contemporary scholars and their predecessors concerning this cardinal principle. Furthermore, the study detailed the primary mutual rights of the ruler and the ruled, the legal ruling regarding rebellion against authorities, and the ensuing dire consequences that adversely impact both the individual and society. In conclusion, the study highlighted the principal findings and recommendations formulated by the researcher."
