The Nature of Jurisdiction of the Libyan Supreme Council of the Judiciary in Deciding Employment Disputes of Judicial Officers

Research Summary

After this study, I ended up supporting the amendment of the Libyan legislator to form the Supreme Judicial Council, through which the presidency of the Council was entrusted to those who have judicial status, namely, the President of the Supreme Court., And manage the law within the formation of the council.

I concluded in this study based on the restructuring of the Council, which has become a purely judicial composition, that the jurisdiction of the Council in this area is a jurisdiction, is separated in the requests submitted by members of judicial bodies by judicial decisions and not administrative decisions, and thus this competence is an exception to the jurisdiction Administrative departments of the Civil Appeals Courts with original jurisdiction to decide on requests for cancellation of administrative decisions.
