Keywords:
Traditional Diplomacy, Digital Diplomacy, Foreign Policy, International Relations, Diplomatic Digital Transformation.Abstract
This study addresses a vital topic within public international law and diplomatic relations by examining the concept of "digital diplomacy." It traces the evolutionary shift from traditional to digital diplomatic frameworks, identifying key advantages, limitations, and operational challenges. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the profound impact of digital tools on state foreign policy and diplomatic practice. The study concludes that integrating digital mechanisms has become an urgent imperative for modern statecraft, enabling rapid, cost-effective, and high-impact outcomes. Ultimately, traditional diplomacy alone is no longer sufficient to secure a state’s strategic foreign policy goals, making the adoption of digital diplomacy an indispensable necessity in contemporary international affairs.
